Cole finally gets the literary break she’s been waiting for when a book of her original poems is published, but on the eve of its release, her ex-girlfriend's parents arrive to pick up the rest of their daughter’s things. Cole's friends Mark and Robin are struggling with their own feelings of jealousy and impatience, and as Cole grapples with her sudden spotlight, she has to finally come to terms with the truth behind her poems and the people around her.

When mysterious stranger Charlie Pierce wanders onto their homestead nearly dead and holds them at gunpoint, the girls, their family, and Charlie alike have to decide which of their secrets are safe to share, and which should remain hidden.

playwright at the Tao House Studio Retreat Summer 2010 - a week-long workshop at Eugene O’Neill’s home in Danville, CA. Ten-minute plays were written, workshopped, and performed for the public in O’Neill’s historic barn.
